The Suprima Dripper One Rapid (SD1R) was designed to extend the SD1 rather than replace it - keeping the same semi-immersion brewing method, but with a faster flow rate and giving users greater brewing flexibility, such as a wider range of grind sizes, water temperatures, and filling methods.
It shares the same design elements of the SD1, but with a smaller profile and a wider angle (48 degrees). Users can also have peace of mind when choosing filter paper, as the Ruler helps fold the standard 01-size cone filter into a precise shape. Continuing with the thoughtful design principles, given the SD1R’s very compact size, the Ruler can also be used as a holder for the filter bowl when needed.
