In Pursuit of Excellence
While developing the Big Boy brewer, we tested many "batch brewer" filters but couldn't find one we were entirely happy with. Often, these filters were very thin and had slow flow rates, forcing you to grind extremely coarse to achieve decent extraction. At the same time, we were grinding and developing our own wave filters for the OREA V3 brewer with excellent results. We decided to scale these up to fit the Big Boy—a win-win for everyone.
Two Years in the Making
Since we started, many have asked for our own wave filters. But honestly, it isn't easy to find a material better than what's already on the market. We chose to keep looking rather than release an inferior product. After over two years of searching, we finally found the perfect material for this filter shape—we hope you love it.
Thick yet Highly Permeable
This paper is thicker but maintains great porosity, allowing for better extraction compared to other basket filters on the market. It is specifically designed for the Big Boy brewer, featuring a flat-bottom structure with an 8cm base diameter.
Clean Flavor, No Paper Taste
You get incredible clarity in the cup with absolutely no paper taste—which is very important to us. Using high-quality paper pulp from Japan ensures this filter performs better than other options available.
Ready to Use
Simply insert the filter, pre-rinse, add your coffee grounds, and start brewing—it's that simple!
