Our partnership with Mariana Iturralde and the team at Finca Takesi has grown over the past eight years through a shared commitment to quality and a deep appreciation for what makes this farm so extraordinary. Nestled among the dramatic peaks of the Bolivian Andes, Takesi is the highest coffee farm in the world, producing coffees that simply couldn't exist anywhere else.

The extreme altitude makes every stage of production more challenging. Cherries ripen slowly, harvests demand incredible precision, and every lot reflects the patience and dedication of the people behind it. Through years of innovation and perseverance, Mariana has helped establish Takesi as one of the world's most respected coffee farms. We're honoured to be the only Canadian roaster, and one of just six worldwide, entrusted to share these coffees.

Peaberries naturally occur in only a small percentage of coffee cherries, producing a single, rounded seed instead of two. Many believe this creates a sweeter, more concentrated cup. Combined with Takesi's beautiful expression of Catuai, this rare lot is vibrant, floral, and wonderfully refined.
